Each of Us Has A Story

I grew up bilingual and bi-cultural in New Jersey with visits to Brazil. I went into medicine after teaching high school.

Because I appreciate the power of our stories and context, I work collaboratively with my patients and seek to see each individual beyond mental health symptoms and history.

Professional Interests

I am interested in psychotherapy, ketamine, and ketamine-assisted psychotherapy. I am passionate about complementary and alternative medicine in mental health, perinatal psychiatry, and adolescent psychiatry. I am also interested in the potential for MDMA, psilocybin, and other psychedelics to enhance well-being and treat mental health conditions.
